What’s horseshite is not giving up an entire point for the entire regular season and going undefeated in the regular season and finish #2 in the polls after being crown national champions the year prior. UT could count another one if they wanted, but they don’t. These 6 are as legit as the 4 you claim.

Tennessee fans come across as the moonshine-addled hill billy version of Husker fans.
Both programs have not been relevant in the lifetimes of any current players. Both fanbases think the return to glory is inevitable.
The difference is Tennessee was on a lower tier than Nebraska. Husker fans don’t act like they are the off season national champions every year.
And I can’t forget in the only big meeting between the two programs, the Huskers whipped their asses.

Prior to 2013, Mizzou football was on life support and during 95 year slump. Talking about life time? Now you have had your 1st winning season since 2018 and you think you are a great program. But my mizozu standards, you most definitely are. 2012-2023 is currently part of Mizzou best stretch in Mizzou history. Really think about that with your 5 winning season since coming to the SEC.

I agree. I expect this season to end at 9-4 after the bowl game. While 9-4 is acceptable at Mizzou, and even considered great. At UT that will get you fired if you can’t consistently win more than that after 5 seasons. Butch Jones got fired after back to back 9 win seasons.

2017 UT- 4-8 1st team in UT history to lose 8 games in a season and it’s the only season it’s ever happened.
