LSU only got to Atlanta due to being in a weaker division. This year is the last year of divisional play, and will be the last year LSU has a chance to make it to Atlanta for the next 20 years. UT and Auburn are the only schools in the country that play Bama and UGA in the regular season every year.
The divisional play is the only reason it wasn’t UT vs UGA in Atlanta. Starting next year it will be the top 2 teams that go. Last year it just so happened the top 2 teams in the SEC was in the East. The current setup allowed the 3rd best team in the SEC get destroyed by UGA in Atlanta.

I mean, this isn’t really true either. UT did beat the top 2 teams from west. So UGA can claim the East, and UT will claim the West.

The west is weaker than the East and has been the last couple years at least. This year UGA and UT both went 5-0 against teams from the west last year.

Nope. That Bama game will be yough though but we know who's going to take it. Bama doesn't have any real QB talent for once and is starting a wildcat QB this year bahaha.
