So first it was “Lane has committed no violations!” But now it’s “they weren’t serious!”

The most interesting thing about Kiffin’s time at UT wasn’t the minor probation they received but how many, or rather few, of his signees that were still there 18 months later.
Also just top notch job dealing with Nukeese and Janzen Jackson’s armed robbery in UT team-issued clothes on the strip in Knoxville. Glad he set those two young men on the right path

From what I’ve learned in this thread:
Lane has been tied to the same types of violations that a vast majority of schools self-report every single year.
Arkansas fans are salty as shite over this coaching search.
MSU fans are still screaming about “them cheatin bears” while completely ignoring their own school being on probation.
And Tennessee fans are still butthurt.
Ok we all already know about that last one.

As far as actual ncaa violations, yes, if you choose to ignore his time as an assistant at USC.
While doesn’t qualify as a violation but rather gross irresponsibility is getting in a drunk driving accident with two coeds in the car while married and having owner of the car dealership come pick up the car to cover his arse. One would almost think he’s collaborated with Bobby Petrino

Was he ever on a team that funneled money from children’s hospitals to players though?
Just want to make sure he’s never done that. I don’t know how I could live with myself as a fan of a school that benefited off of money that might have saved a child’s life.
