How would they know this,
I dont know, they are the one making the statement. So I guess they are the assumption, maybe because they know what actual info has been uncovered

Da frick? they are in the dark about their own investigations? Sheridan knows more about their investigations than the people actually handling them

The point was so crystal clear that they were debunking Sheridan that I'm really not going to waste time arguing this, as much as you'd like that.

Danny Sheridan boomed all of us, with today's social media. He is making his name a brand.

Danny Sheridan continues to make vague, unsubstantiated claims without backing them up with proof. Contrary to his claims of having an inside source with details on the Auburn investigation, the NCAA has not provided information to Sheridan or anyone else.

Bro they said his claims lacked proof. They said he had no connections in the NCAA. They said when they contacted him to see if he had pertinent information all he did was ask them questions.
Bro, if he said, I'm not telling you my source. How in the hell, could they say he doesn't have one with a straight face? All they're saying, is that Sheridan wasn't given info officially. They have absolutely no way of knowing if he knows anything else, unless someone says something to them. Yall are reading alot into a vague statement, just as a ton of folks have read into Sheridan's. Until a NOI or the investigation ends, nobody knows jack and it's stupid to be saying anything, either way.

If Sheridan didn't give them who his "source" is, and the "source" hasn't told them. How do they know he doesn't have one? All they can say is they haven't told him anything officially.

Emmert also is continuing to show what a joke he is in feeling a need to address any rumor that pops up.
Perhaps Emmert was commenting on someone who has made an accusation that the NCAA has a leak, which he (Emmert) obviously is in a better position to determine than anyone on this message board.

Nah I really didn't because my face would have a big red mark from the facepalm if I decided to read it, and I just can't have that.

and the "source" hasn't told them
The source that works for the NCAA hasnt told the NCAA, come on man your hat needs another layer to protect from the radio waves
I highly doubt they ask him his source, They asked about his claims he knows who the bagman is.

Based on your theory, the NCAA has one person who knows this information and hasn't shared it within the organization, but did pass it along to an "odds maker" who sounds like a wanna be big time bad boy.

If nobody is talking to Emmert, he wouldn't know. They pretty much said Sheridan didn't tell them anything. If they can't ascertain what he knows, they can't accurately state he doesn't have a source. Only that they didn't officially give him info, which is pretty much what that statement alludes to. And in that case, the statement was a stupid one to make. They'd have been better off just interviewing him, then saying, we don't comment on current investigations.

I highly doubt he'd give them any information that could divulge a source, so basically, they got no information from him, would you agree? And if that's the case, they couldn't say he didn't have sources or be able to say he doesn't know, could they? Only that they didn't officially give him information.

Most all over the country have been paying attention to Auburn since last year. DS is a vegas oddsmaker, it's been a pretty big deal. I think he is fos, he went to Bama, but not sure why he is so invested in this, he was fine before.

There's so many twists and turns to this story. I'd watch a made for tv movie about it.
Eta: The Abourne Identity maybe?

That's more based on your assumptions and wanting to make folks believe I believe in a conspiracy. I'm sure there are multiple people involved in the investigation. There could have been any number of persons that talked to Sheridan, if they actually did so. The NCAA, and Emmert specifically, has made this entire situation a FUBAR'd one. They'd be better served to go back to their standard, we don't comment and move on. The more he talks, and they make statements, the dumber they look.
