OKC is a great town, and they really have invested in women's softball. Of all the places I've been in the country, I never experienced greater hospitality than I did in OKC.
OU is the favorite, with Texas slightly behind and then Florida. But the Gators don't have great pitching depth. Rothrock can't do it alone. Their bats, however, are second to none.
Kavan is the real deal for Texas. I expect Nicole May to play a big role in the Sooners chase. She's tough in the circle.

Listen to an ex player explain the home field thingy
By the way I expect UCLA to give OU all it can handle today. Even in our title years we always have close games in this WCWS.

I think you are misinterpreting what people are saying about the HFA..
1) on a neutral field, OU would still be the favorite
2) but when you add the HFA (big or small), it makes it that much harder to beat them
I don’t think anyone is saying that OU is only winning because of the HFA..
You guys are just that much better than everyone else.. It makes it almost impossible when you add the HFA
OU Neutral 75% or better chance to win any game in the CWS
OU in OKC = 80% or better

We are all pulling for the Bruins today..
Beating OU 1x is possible..
Beating OU 2x is gonna be tough

This is all you had to say, nothing else. Case closed, time to move on from whining.

UCLA is the team I worry about most. Assume we lose and they win. We could then face them 3 more times if we win out to finals along with them, since they change brackets (I think thats how it works).

It's an advantage. Maybe you could be a man and admit that, but maybe you're not man enough to do that.
So beat them on the road when they play at your house and YOU have the "advantage". Oh yeah.......can't get it done in your own houses either.
Know why nobody whines about Nebraska having the "advantage" in Omaha every year?
Because Nebraska sucks and is never there.

the loser of today’s games change brackets
so if UCLA and Texas win today
Alabama vs Florida
Winner vs UCLA (+1 if necessary)
Oklahoma vs Stanford
Winner vs Texas (+1 if necessary)
Today is super important for all 4 teams.
Last 15 years..
the NC is 15-0 in Game 2’s

Looks like we have to wait on the lacrosse game to finish to start ours.
Quit taking timeouts Fuggers.

On ESPN news until the lacrosse is over.

OU and Jen Rocha have set up the first two UCLA batters perfectly. She is the best pitching coach in the nation and it's not close.

Impressive for that UCLA pitcher to get out of that without giving up a run. UCLA uniform's look pretty sharp.

UCLA can't keep falling behind these hitters. They'll make her pay for it eventually.

1-0 OU on HR by SS Jennings

OU hitter tried to celebrate out of the box and HR got pulled back. Thought for sure that runner would get doubled up.

UCLA made a great catch denying that HR.
