They’ve let it go on far too long. shite needs to be enforced from game 1 next season or it’s just going to keep getting worse. The bad part is little kids and youth parents see that and think it’s okay. We have a massive shortage of youth sports officials in this country and it’s mostly because they get treated like absolute shite for what amounts to minimum wage when you factor in gas and time. I don’t completely absolve officials of any blame but no bad call in a kids game is worth chasing a youth umpire to their car or even assaulting them.
