Its pretty straight forward on if a #1 seed wins their region or regions:
The highest regional seed in the super regional will be the host. For example, if one regional winner was a No. 1 seed in their regional and the other regional winner was a No. 3 seed in their regional, the No. 1 seed will host.
If both Regionals winners are national seeds, then the higher national seed will host.
So I agree Texas will host TAM if they win out.
After reading the NCAA process, its kind of vague if the regional #1 seeds are knocked out of their bracket.
Since Auburn lost and Clemson lost and two #2 seeds are playing in the Super Regionals. If they are equally seeded teams, the official tiebreaker as stated on the NCAA’s website is “the committee shall review the hosting proposals according to the site selection criteria (e.g., quality and availability of the facility, revenue potential and other available accommodations) to determine the host. If only one of the teams has submitted a proposal, that team shall host if the proposal is acceptable.”
So who knows until tomorrow.
