I don’t get where this “Alabama can’t pay him” thing comes from. We can spend with the best of them if the basketball team is good. Which they are. People act like we’re fricking Mississippi State or something.

Kind of hard to argue since Alabama won at Houston who will probably coast rest of the season in the AAC as #1. They also went straight to #2 Virginia after losing to Alabama and dominated.
UConn has kind of cooled off, Purdue has a bad loss to Rutgers and KU just is too young/raw and plays down to average teams too much.
