Yes, LSU once had a TE that not only made it to the NFL but produced some in it.

not sure if already mentioned, but has to be Albert Belle for LSU. LSU doesn't talk about him much and neither does ALbert (Joey). Still a lot of bad blood on his end with his quit exit from the program. Skip suspended him for the CWs in 1987 after he chased a fan in the outfield at Mississippi State after he had been yelling racial epithets at him the entire game. Fan was allegedly calling him "buckwheat"

Todd helton was a qb on tennessee team, he played a game or two before peyton took over and tmafter peyton pretty much made it known he wasnt gonna be goving up the starting spot helton focused on baseball and had a nice career. I think helton and peyton were in the same class

I thought the MSU fan was calling him "LeRoy" and the fan had a 2x4 on his shoulder the entire time. Albert, aka Joey, had enough and jumped the fence and beat the crap out of him. I can not say I blame him.

quote:I remember it a little differently. Todd Helton was injured and Manning replaced him but alternated with Brandon Stewart his Freshman year. Peyton won the role and Stewart transferred to Texas A&M
