I think that not only does the SEC have the best teams in country but we also have the best fans in country. Oh, we certainly all have our fair share of A-holes, but all in all we have the best fans. I have lived all over the country and abroad and you cant beat the SEC fans. Other schools may sell out the stadiums week in and week out but they lack the passion that you find only in SEC country.

I get these posts on facebook sometimes like
"Ugh this cashier was so rude to me! Gotta be a Bama fan!"

They actually are like, bigoted, in a way. They believe Bama fans are actually worse people. It's strange.

I don't blame them for believing they are better people. When you are vastly inferior on the field (both today and historicall), and all measurable evidence indicates your university is behind academically, you have to cling to something.
Either they need to be morally superior, or have better fashion sense, and Dickey's haven't seem to have emerged as a style trend yet.
