I love Ole Miss but I'm not going to pretend the play calling hasn't been atrocious all year. Masoli is an awesome QB that Nutt won't get out of the way of.

That is not what he said after the 2005 game...

Nutt: Did you see that Chuck?

Chuck: I aye....

Nutt: That was a called play and I CALLED IT!

Chuck: gooo....

Nutt: I called a lot of good plays today Chuck.

Chuck: Yes you did...

Nutt: I call alot of good plays every day!

Chuck: Yes you did now go celebrate with the team.

Casey Dick called an audible at the line that lead to the game winning score...

It'd be okay if Clair wasn't hurt.

I think the O-line will improve from here on out.

Losing Clair on the last, meaningless play of the Bama game was a huge blow to our season, though.

My opinion: He's a spineless puss that can't handle listening to his home state boo him. Both before kickoff and coming back from halftime he was so scared of being booed that he kept his team holed up down the tunnel until the exact moment Arkansas came out. Two years ago he even said as much and said he felt like they were already winning 1-0 before the game started because of it.

Seriously, when's the last time you saw a coach make his team line up and wait for several minutes to come out because he didn't have the stones to bring them out there where they might get booed?

Maybe if he wasn't so worried about his ego or feelings getting hurt he could focus more on coaching and avoid having to call timeout on the first play following an hour long break or having 12 men on the field on the first play following the other break.

I've always thought that it has more to do with the critical situation at hand, i.e.when he calls the bad plays. They may just be the ones that are more memorable.

There was another one. I think maybe it was Holtz who did it a lot. Hootie may have sometimes when he was with the Hogs too. I don't know for sure. It's like a psych thing.

The weather played into Nutty Buddy's hand, because all the wannabe fair weather fans left the stadium.

No crowd noise......

I loved it watching him call TO's for more stupid offensive calls.....

R.I.P.

Hootie

Move on to another conference....

You're not a SEC caliber coach...you've ran off 2 great OC's..1 at Arky and 1 at OM..

He did it a lot here, along with after a big play not being ready for the next play and having to call a time out. Calling a time out on a third and long after failing to get the play call in on time, come out of the time out and run a smoke draw.

Even tho the offensive sets looked a little different, the play calling was still predictable. It was obvious when the one receiver was going to run a go route and for example when they went to a 5 receiver set there was no doubt it was going to be a QB draw, the fake punt, etc.

I got to where I was able to forecast Hootie stuff fairly well. Back in '03, he spots Alabama 3 TDs and farts around until the third quarter until he pulled out the stops. I called that shite back then, and I called it today. We beat Alabama that year. I was telling people, "just watch him---he's waiting --- but he's gonna bust a move." I was concerned.

I thought it was funny when the announcers said that it seemed like Arkansas was in the Rebels playbook before every single play when we were shutting down the option consistently.

That was a no brainer considering everyone in the stadium and watching on tv knew Nutt was going to run a read option play when they came out in the pistol or in shotgun with two running backs. I doubt it wasn't that hard for Willy to pick up on too.

On the bright side, we did let yet another Rebel QB have his season high passing on us for the second year in a row. Stanley should just go ahead and circle our game next year as his best day passing.
