1. LSU
2. MSU
3. Ole Miss
4. Auburn

LSU looked the most ready for the season. MSU set school records for offense. Ole Miss faced adversity but got a ranked win. Auburn faced adversity and got a P4 win.

Other than State setting records, I'm not impressed with teams beating up garbage opponents.

Well, I was just told today that Clemson is so bad, any team could have beat them.

That was what surprised me most. I expected some new team and coaching staff cohesion issues here and there but they looked ready and in sync. Clemson is obviously even more dog shite than we thought, but the team looked well prepared and sharp.

I would assume this is everyone's list.

Outside of these 4 the team that just LOOKED the most impressive to me was Florida.

They are bad but LSU still looked prepared. This isn't about Clemson, FWIW.

Most offense yards for a game in school history. I think it was 762 yards.

I agree. We've had a lot of wins over mediocre teams and we looked terrible.

Against ULM.

I would think EVERY SEC team that played a weak arse opponent should have set some sort of record.

Sorry but when something has never been done before, it's impressive, especially for State. They look so much better this season.

Speaking of which, Boise State got screwed on several PI non-calls on the last drive against Oregon. B1G officials definitely protect their conference.

I know people will see that we scored 51 points and think of Lane Kiffin’s offense and a mobile QB like Leavitt. The story for me was the defense. I don't recall seeing an LSU defense swarm to the ball like that since maybe 2011. They were out there pursuing the ball like wild animals and playing so fast. The LSU defense was absolutely suffocating and was on the field with bad intentions. I absolutely loved it.
