Mr. a-hole makes his upteenth appearance... and will hopefully shortly be banned, again, for his obsession and hate for all Vietnam vets. Here is what I just sent to the admins with an RA.

Please review this coward's post and take what action you think appropriate.

True, Gonzales, hadn’t realized this... however I’m not sure what responsibility a “passing game coordinator” has for the overall development of a QB from mechanics to decision making.
LSU had actually hired a QB coach (Kagletrop??)in 2011 for the first time. No such coach in 2010 and 2009. I don’t think anyone actually worked with JJ on the fundamentals throughout his career. And I blame Miles... he apparently thought offense just happens...
I followed JJ from his State champ game when he played at Destrehan, and he was the QB whose talents I most respected throughout his career. It was disappointing to see that talent wasted....but it worked out for Alabama.
I think most contending programs today have a dedicated QB coach. It makes a lot of sense.

Les Miles set himself up constantly to be compromised. I don't judge him for what he did. The way he did it was reckless and had a huge negative impact on our team though. It wasn't his team. It was our's. He deserves whatever he gets.

Joe Brady was the passing game coordinator in 2019 and everyone here claims he was the reason Burrow & Co were so good.

Well... Brady was working with a fully developed QB whose mechanics, footwork, decision making were already pretty top notch.
I think where Brady made the difference was in scheme and reads, QB-WR communication, check off, etc... Look at the leap the offense made from 2018-2019. 2019 shows the power of scheme given the fully developed QB mechanics and knowledge/reads. 2018 shows the limit of talent even with good QB mechanics if the scheme sucks... and the offensive system in 2018 was pretty unimaginative.
I’m pretty sure JJ had no competent training in mechanics, reads, check downs, footwork or how to be a QB because Miles had no idea what that meant. Furthermore, the scheme he was asked to play in, option, sweep, was amateurish at best...
Result, today JJ still gets blamed for failing to win the Alabama game all by himself by ad Lib. Maybe someday people can re watch that game and grade it play by play without melting. If so, JJ might finally be absolved of responsibility for the offensive result of that game.
One point: On these boards Miles was often called “stubborn” for failure to change offense. Truth is, he didn’t know how or what to do. He was straight up asked in 2013 what he could have done differently and he truthfully answered “I don’t know.”

It's unfortunate but it appears that LSU's athletic department has been unchecked and out of control for quite a while. For the good of the school, and its alumni, reel that shite in with a quickness.
