Ignore the Arkansas troll. All he ever talks about is how terrible Gus is.

I get a 2'fer here.

First, That program could run great when the next HC gets there, especially if Spurrier molded him.

Second, this is the EXACT reason why the HCIW tag makes since, it will show recruits who's going to be in charge after Spurrier retires in a few years

Also, Spurrier is sticking around afterwards as a consultant, he's said that publicly as well.

Wonder if Gus leaps for the next job thrown at him after his repeat 4-6 loss season next year first or if he gets canned like AU does all their coaches. Will be interesting to see who gets the best of who

It could or it could not. It depends on the coach you hire. That's what we're saying. Muschamp had a better chance to succeed at UF than he does at SCar. Yet he still couldn't make it work there. Now could he become a better coach under Spurrier? Yes. But it's not that easy to just mold a coach. Look at Saban's coaching tree. Jimbo worked out but many others failed.

How many coaches has Spurrier molded into decent Head Coaches?

Again, if that's the reason you want to hire a head coach then good luck to you.

some ironic Franchionesq truth is, he would bolt aubie for aTm in a heartbeat, or Tejas, IF the deck was stacked in his favor at the time

But I also think he can fool Jerry Jones. Everyone else has.

When he posts you just want to give him a pat on the head. I think it is great his parents let their boy work the computer after getting off the short bus from school.

We've maintained a coach for 8 years. You've had 3 in said time. Probably 5-6 by the time Saban retires with 5+ rings

Why did he fail at UF?

Ok. Let's play that game and take it back to the time between Saban and when the old drunk croaked.

We had one for 9 years not too long ago. Y'all had 6 in said time.
