I agree. I think AJ's performance on January 9, is what separates him.

Mcarron..as a dawgfan I like Murray's improvement, but AJ has shown how a QB should manage a football game.

Murray is 5'11 & 3/4" but will be 5'9" after playing USC & UF. McCarron has poise in the pocket and is taller prototype NFL qb...he is only asked to manage game...but can win them if need be when teams stack the box.

He was so fricking precise in that game.

If you're an LSU fan and you pick Murray, you're just Bama-hating.

Murray or McCarron???
You left off AJ's 2 BCS Champion rings.

Well, yeah, if we count his redshirt year when he never saw the field.

Who would you take if you had the pick for one entire season? I will obviously say Murray as a uga fan but AJ is very good as well

I think both would be very good behind Bama's awesome OL.

Basically what's going on in this thread from auburn and Lsu fans. They would take AJ, but would rather put their dick in a meatgrinder than admit that on the SECr

AJ-176 consecutive passes without an INT. That record pushes him to #2 in Bama history. He could pass Brodie Croyle's record of 190 next week.

What is the record for any team in the FBS?

Russell Wilson has the record for most consecutive passes without an interception at 379.

I want to see Murray in the Carolina game first.

Both have nice skill sets, but AJ hasn't really lost games for Bama the way Murray has for UGA.

The 19 turnovers last year were way to much for UGA to overcome. He is off to an excellent season so far. The improved run game and O-line will hopefully help him reach his full potential this year.

Great point. But murray's footwork, eyes, and accuracy are greatly improved from last year

Pretty damn even. Murray has thrown more passes. McCarron has thrown zero interceptions. Aaron Murray 69/104 1,092 Yards 66.3% 10.50 ypa 10 TDs 2 INTs 182.4 Rating AJ McCarron 51/81 819 Yards 63.0% 10.11 ypa 10 TDs 0 INTs 188.6 Rating

9 of McCarrons 10 TD's have came in the first half of games (6 were when Bama was either tied or up by 1-7 points and 6 TD's in the first quarter) 21 total attempts in the second half

6 of Murrays 10 TD's were thrown in the second half. 521 of his 1092 yards have came in the second half. 50 of his 104 throws were also in the second half.

McCarron has looked better this year imo. He def has better size. I really like Murray's athleticism, footwork and vision though. I could see people rather having Murray, but I like AJ
