As long as Smart signs with UGA after the game Saturday (he will), he will have unlimited contact with Eason, who already signed scholarship papers. Even during the dead period. As will all UGA staff members.
He will also be able to be in Athens during Eason's OV from Dec 11-13, along with the new OC, which he will be able to hire as soon as he's officially announced as UGA's coach.
Richt did this too. He flipped Fred Gibson to UGA while still preparing for FSU's bowl game.

UFs staff has recruited Eason longer than Kirby. Hell Kirby can only tell Eason what he can do, Mac can show hin. The only connection Eason had to UGA is gone and Kirby has no one setup to recruit the kid. Kirby waiting til after the bowl game will be a disaster since he will have to find a New staff and recruit with 3 weeks left. Get used to this

Florida did NOT sign a single QB last year....only 1 QB right now on scholly til seventh game of 2016 and the one QB is putrid.
