LSU didn't play above anything!!! They played up to their level, which up to this point they have been playing down to the opposition.

1/9 was much more representative of LSU's "level." Last weekend was an abberration, they clearly took the game more seriously than Bama, a team focused on championships and not some paper rivalry. That was LSU's super bowl and LSU failed, again.

No, LSU will be "leveled" tomorrow night and order will be restored.

Yeah, he looked pretty good against a weak Alabama secondary

I see them unable to stop MSU's passing game, we're not like AJ, we're actually consistent.

Mett vs Bama's weak secondary: 24/35 298 yds

Wilson vs Bamas weak secondary: 15/30 169 yds

Does not compute

Your lay down jobs will continue. Your level is pretty well defined

Without looking someone might think that an 18 out of 20 streak is an aberration, but it isn't our first such streak against State.

MSU vs. LSU: A Little History

In LSU's 55-0 win over Miss State in 1967, LSU scored more points in that one game than State did the entire year, 49.

MSU vs Bama
MSU Offense
Total Passing - 209
Total Rushing - 47
Total Yards - 256

MSU Defense
Total Passing - 235
Total Rushing - 179
Total Yards - 414

LSU vs Bama
Offense
Total Passing - 296
Total Rushing - 139
Total Yards - 435

Defense
Total Passing - 165
Total Rushing - 166
Total Yards - 331

Are sure you want to compare "levels"?
What I see is a MSU defense that is no where near what Bama or LSU has and an LSU offense that has finally come into its own.
LSU - 30
MSU - 17

Hey,Bigmouth ? Icon bet. Miss State wins, I'll have a Miss State icon all of next week. If LSU wins, you have an LSU icon all of next week.

Anybody that has ever followed Mississippi State fit all knows that we are one of the most bipolar teams in the league. Well us and South Carolina. Having two shite showings back to back + our DC's wife getting run out of the stands crying does not bode well for the Fighting Corndogs. I would imagine after Stricklin made Mullen, Collins, Hevasy, Wilson and Woody McKoening run laps up and down the stadium they have a clearer understanding of what "compete" means.
