I'll bet that you said the same thing last season too.

Last season we got Sirmoned. You will have the privilege of repeating that performance when you play Louisville later in the year.

AS for last year's game, congrats on improving to 1-7 against Mullen. It was his worst team ever and you had to kick a last second field goal to squeak one out. State is much improved this year defensively.

What pos does Jordan Jones play? Have never heard of him.

He's our weakside linebacker. Was Second Team All SEC last season. We have two of the best linebackers in the SEC in him and Josh Allen.

He had over 100 tackles last season and was 16th in the country and 1st in the SEC in solo tackles.

We beat the Cards in Louisville last season when they had Grantham as DC and a Heisman QB.

Well Louisville doesn't have defensive studs lined up at each level of the defense like State does. There was a reason why TG left and came to brighter pastures.

Congrats on your super bowl win.

Grantham >>>>>>> Sirmon

Grantham had one foot out the door when y'all played last year.

It's kinda comical with who Kentucky had played this year, that they really think they're going to come in DWS and beat us. I think they are basing it off the scores of our two road performances. Haha

Yeah the reason is he wouldn't have to work for Bobby Petrino anymore. Louisville had two defenders taken by the NFL last season and would have had 3 if it weren't for Devonte Fields being a woman beater.

Miss State got an offensive tackle drafted.

Yep that's because we were mainly fresh and soph a year ago. We have 8-9 from the D side that will be in the league.

As I said before I haven't seen Miss State this year except for 2 quarters last week, so I look forward to it.

All I can think of is 5 games Mullen has lost to the east since he came to starkville. 1 to South Carolina, 1 to Florida, last year to Kentucky and two to Georgia. And we play Kentucky every year.

We reserve the right to leave that door wide open and occasionally remove that door entirely and piss off for the entire weekend.

A more stupid and uninformed quote has never been uttered here on the SEC Rant. And, that's saying something!

State under Mullen vs the East

2009 - @Vandy (W); UF (L); @UK (W)
2010 - UGa (W); @UF (W); UK (W)
2011 - @UGa (L); SC (L); @UK (W)
2012 - Tenn(W); @UK (W)
2013 - UK (W); @SC (L)
2014 - @UK (W); Vandy (W)
2015 - UK (W); @Mizz (W)
2016 - @UK (L); SC (W)
2017 - @UGa (L)

14-6 overall (7-4 away and 7-2 at home) vs the East in Mullen's tenure. Yeah, the East owns MSU!
