Also, I'd rather not post this on the rant but we're about to get some new sunscreens on the West side as well. Fingers crossed that they cover up one of Trahan's many mistakes.

Exactly. Actual debate is becoming more and more rare in this establishment.
I'm sure I'll get 30-50 angry responses to what I actually posted here -- and chances are, not a damn one of them will make an actual counter point worth debating. Just a bunch of memes and hollow insults that actually bring nothing but the appearance of more LSU tears in a thread that didn't have a damn thing to do with them in the first place.

I'd rather go to a game in Starkville or Oxford and sit in the outfield grilling and drinking cold beer in a solo cup than go to a game Alex Box... Yes... I've been to both... I like The Intimidator in right field but that's really about it... I guess the advertisements on the outfield wall are cool in a retro sort of way.

I hate State but I agree that the Atmosphere at Dudy noble is way better than the box. I don't see how anyone other than Mormons can deny that.
Sure the aesthetics of the box are better all around, although there are some fricking eyesores like the outfield adds and bleachers.

Good lord. Clearly the Internet is serious business for you. I haven't even read the thread, just felt like messing with MSU fans who tend to be incredibly defensive. You epitomize this behavior.
If you guys want to beat your chests and claim that you have the best baseball atmosphere, then by all means do so. But you may want to focus a bit more on finding a way to beat UCA and actually winning your regional.

Dudy Noble is not a nice stadium any more. Much like Tiger Stadium, it's an eyesore. The atmosphere is what makes it top notch.

Exactly.
The Dude was built in 85 and will have been been mostly untouched for 30 years by the time we get around to renovating it. "It is what it is" at this point.
I've been to every SEC park besides Blue Bell, Vandy, Tennessee, and Mizzou. Nothing else even comes close to the atmosphere in the outfields at Swayze and Dudy Noble -- and building them "nicer" isn't getting anyone any closer in that regard either...
