I am going to refrain from telling Richard Williams stories, but picture this...
When Bob Boyd was head coach at MSU, we had Richard, John Brady, and Larry Eustachy as our main assistants. Richard... John... Larry... with college girls... what could possibly go wrong?

Haha that's funny, but no longer relevant.

Everyone has their own opinion. I have followed MSU sports since the 80's and Coach Williams is the best coach I have seen at State. He KNOWS basketball and I think he did a better job of masking our weaknesses and playing to our strengths better than anyone else we have had.

Moo State bringing in a guy that hasn't coached in 25+ years? Sign me up!

The MSU fans who want Howland fired must be recent bandwagonners or people currently enrolled at MSU.

Yall need to find the Mike Leach of college basketball
Is that guy still coaching that had Loyola Marymount scoring 110 a game (and giving up 110 a game?). Seems there were more recent teams doing that, VCU or another Virginia Team and/or Florida Gulf Coast.
Those coaches would be the Mike Leach of college basketball.
Looked it up. The Loyola Marymount coach was Paul Westhead, who coached them from 1985-1990. He's 81 now. His team averaged 122.4 points per game in 1990.

A guy who went 10-22 in his last two seasons of SEC play isn’t scaring anyone.

Yeah...I guess that just sums it all up right there.
