Never know for sure and the postseason gets weird at times, but that definitely felt like a game straight out of Omaha today.
UCLA is legit. Can’t argue otherwise when the last two weekends they’ve swept three SEC teams plus what was at the time a Top 10 TCU.
But State is pretty dang impressive too. Just zero weak spots in the lineup and plenty talented on the mound too.
Strictly based off this weekend, those looked like two teams that will be Top 8 seeds in June. Nothing is a given, of course. But that game for sure lived up to the billing of a Top 5 showdown.

Even LSU loses money on baseball.

MSU has to navigate some really good teams. Don’t count your seeds before conference play.
