A&M fans better get on their knees and beg LSU not to leave. Texas A&M can not make it in the SEC without LSU and this a fact. You guys would be the West Virginia of the SEC. Arkansas would be your only rival.
Then A&M will have to go back to the Big 12 and face big brother instead of running from him with your tail between your legs.

You think we would care if Arkansas was our only rival if we still were guaranteed to play Alabama, Auburn, South Carolina, Ole Miss and Moo State each year? To top that off we'd get trips to NOLA every other year with the location upgrade in Tulane.

Curious about your reasoning with this. Why don't you think their competitiveness depends on LSU?

TFB for them I don't care what they think about playing us.
But I bet you they would all prefer trips to NOLA w/o having to go to Baton Rouge for the game.
They'd also be happy they would no longer have to here all the titty baby crying about scheduling.
But hey, have fun in Ames and Manhattan.

If Texas A&M can continue to have good teams, I think everybody would like to play them. I wish Georgia had played them the past two years. It would have been interesting. If they turn into a weak team...you would have a point. However, their recruiting seems to indicate they will be good for the foreseeable future.

Look at the map. A&M would be isolated. The only school close by they would play every year would be Arkansas and that would be their only rival. Bama and Auburn will never consider A&M as a top rival and could care less about them.
A&M has to have LSU as a rival in the SEC.
LSU does not need A&M as a rival in either the Big 12 or SEC.

Y'all should have taken SMU if you wanted a Texas school that would lick your taint for letting them in. And yea, you should thank us for all the Texas $$$ that will be pouring into the SECN.
