Typical Arkansas-Nutt bashing ahead:

Before leaving Arkansas Nutt was the longest tenured BCS coach without a BCS appearance. He is still waiting.

Nutt has a record against Top 25 teams that is laughable.

Nutt has a road record that is down right deplorable and embarrassing.

Nutt has a bowl record that is shameful.

Nutt beats LSU and Florida......but also loses to Vandy, Miss. St., Kentucky and other far worse teams annually.

Nutt had a tandem of backs, Jones-McFadden, with more all-purpose yards than any two backs in the history of the game (and it only took them 3 years). What did Nutt do with the most successful tandem in the history of the game? Went .500 in the SEC and lost a couple of bowls.

Bottom line: Nutt isn't all that great. Hell, he barely qualifies as mediocre. His entire resume is full of failure. He is a ho-hum, .500 type coach.

And before someone points out he went to Atlanta twice, it was thanks to an Alabama probation and a Matt Jones Hail Mary. Then his teams were donkey stomped by better prepared competition.

Rant over. I vote Spurrier.

Spurrier, it's obvious the game has pretty much passed him. His DC's have saved his arse, and helped him with the wins he's gotten at Carolina.

Ross You are correct. I picked Kiffy because he talks smack..and at least Chiz has SEC experience compared to Kiffy..That's why I feel the Kiffster will finish behind Chiz all things considered.

This from a GT fan? He's 7-1 vs GT. Has won 80% of his games.

You'd have renamed the stadium after any GT coach with similar success vs UGA and the same winning percentage.

Gotta be Nutt. I'm still a believer that being at USC is what is holding Spurrier back. I just don't think it's a fit for him.

Definitely Nutt. 3-9 to 9-4 = overrated.

2 SECCG appearances at a mid-range program in 5 years = overrated.

He's won everywhere he has gone. I agree that Florida is an easier place to succeed than most, but Meyer is an awesome coach and has the record and hardware to prove it.

Zook wasnt winning any titles

Glad to see you face reality

You were .500 in the SEC and you would have improved drastically regardless of coach.

Nice wording. How about 2 over 10 years and thanks, like I said above, to an Alabama probation and Matt Jones Hail Mary followed by two Atlanta arse rapings.

Still waiting on a BCS bowl, lopsided top 25 record, deplorable road record, atrocious bowl record, takes some of the greatest talent in the nation and STRIVES to get them Cotton or Independence invites....... If Nutt receives an ounce of praise, it's undeserving.

We were actually 5-3. I think Coach O may have won 3 or 4 SEC games thanks to Snead, but who effing knows?

This discussion is tired. You hate him, we love him. The end.

Spurrier and Saban. Look at Saban's 2 years at Bama
year1: 7-6, win Independence Bowl
year2: 12-2, barely beats LSU (should've been a blowout against Jarrett Lee) lose SECCG, and lose Sugar Bowl to Utah

On the flip side, I think Urban Meyer might be underrated because it seems like Tebow gets most of the credit

Richt is a good coach. Just not great. Look at all that talent he had this year. Hell every year. He always fields a good team yes. But just can't get to the championship game.

Funny the only people that call Nutt overrated are Arkansas fans and LSU fans... LSU shut up... Nutt beat you this year with Ole Miss and last year with Arkansas... sounds like Miles can't hang with Nutt

Arkansas you hired the biggest quitter/pussy in football..whats petrino's recored his first year in the SEC compared to Nutt? Have fun when he ups and leaves Arkansas like a criminal in the night

Is this all you got son...I've seen this in 3 of your 5 first posts.

Nutt inherited good teams in his first season at Arky and OM. Your coach is on record for also leaving in the middle of the night. Don't throw stones bitch
