I'd be more interested in something more recent, like "since the BCS era" or "since the playoff era".

The Super Bowl era is a long time. It started in 1967. The sec didn’t become nationally dominant until the 1990’s truthfully.

So essentially you had 30 years head starts for USC and the B1G teams.
