Outside of older UGA fans, I don’t think the SEC knows Erk Russell’s story. He should have unseated Dooley for the HC job. He left UGA for a 1 dollar raise and STARTED the Georgia Southern football program....and went on to build a D1-AA powerhouse from the ground up.

Oh wow. I just googled it. Thought that you must be sarcastic as that is what this board is much of. Great article about a great man with a special needs son who worked keep life in perspective.

If you ask the media or the fans nationwide I would think Spurrier would come out on top and it would not be close. The guy was a great coach...changed the game...was quick witted.....and an entertainer.
