Second most hostile would be 2008 lsu. Most of the lsu fans I talked to were pretty cool. Got a few tiger baits but it wasn't that bad.

That doesn't sound hostile at all. I take it those are the only 2 away games you've been to?

Ive been to a bunch of away games and never have been treated as badly as last year in Little Rock. After the game, they were TOTALLY classless. I hear it's not like that in Fayetteville. Wish they'd move our game there.

We actually had Hog fans apologize to us and swore that the crowds in Fayetteville would never act like "the trash here in Little Rock".

Athens as a Tech fan.

Just blatant disrespect, and they're proud of it.

I beg to differ on that. I went there in 07 and fans were running their mouth the whole game and after the game there were a bunch of them yelling and cussing all the way down the ramp.It was clearly the worst I have seen at any opposing stadium and I have been to a lot of them.

So it's pretty much like a game in Baton Rouge then right?

There is always a story like this from some fan for every away stadium. I expecet the blame is rarely 100% one sided. More likely a 50/50 split.

Im sorry DMac ran for 323 yards on yall. Truly

I honestly find it hard to believe any Fayetteville crowd was the worst you've ever seen.

I would agree if I didn't experience it myself.I'm not saying the whole crowd in general but there were a lot of classless people. Were you at that game?

Yep. DMac's last game in the Ville'

In our fans defense, there was a lot of built up Nutt tension those last few games. Probably didn't help things as far as being cordial to opposing fans. Anyways, hopefully you'll make the trip back sometime and have better times

The fans were cool in Columbia the one time I went

Yeah I agree. They talked as much shite about Nutt as they did about Carolina.Don't worry I don't hold the whole fanbase responsible for the actions of some.I did meet a couple of people who were cool before the game.Might make the trip again but it won't be this year.

2006--Little Cock, Arkansas. Crazy rednecks throwing beer cans at my car as I'm trying to drive into the golf course and park. I seriously feared that my car would be pushed into a ditch.

But we kicked their arse, so it was ok.

Has to be Texas, 1990. Farewell tour (last game at DKR before leaving the SEC that is). Me and 7 or 8 other ARK friends/students had seats in the UT student section of all places, adjacent to the Mavericks. Pretty miserable.

Escorted out of Neyland Stadium in '92 by the cops, when Arkansas crapped all over their Orange Bowl aspirations.

Might have had something to do with me standing on my seat and singing Rocky Top at 100,000 stone faced silent Tennessee fans. It only took about half a verse before I was ducking a crapload of oranges pitched my way.

We absolutely are, because of the way we get treated by the scum over in Atlanta. Tech has the biggest inferiority complex I've ever seen, worse than auburn's towards bama. I truly, honestly think half of tech's fanbase would rather see Georgia do bad than tech do well. Tech is the only fanbase that I refuse to be hospitable or go out of my way to be courteous to when visiting Athens. frick them, I hate them.
