Overall this is a stupid argument. Childish in a way. Teams can hang any banner they want in their stadium in my opinion. Its their stadium and they have the right.

My favorite banners to this day are at Florida. The banners at the top of the Sunshine Deck (all the great players) is cool.

I'm happy Tiger Stadium has no bowl banners and you should be happy V-H doesn't have them anymore. Just my opinion, but I think both our programs are better than recognizing late December trips to Shreveport in the stadium.

So I said that in any of my posts? wow.......I can't wait for you to argue politics with someone. It's always hilarious when someone completely refuses to acknowledge vital details of an argument. It's ok.....if I were you, I wouldn't either. I can't imagine how ignorant I would feel in your shoes. It's just a shame that you can't even admit that what you are accusing me of saying was never said.

And I'm old enough to serve a tour of duty and go through college once already...so thanks for the "kid".

Not surprised that you're done talking. My nephew gets pissed off when he's wrong and gives the whole "oh yea, well I'm going home and taking my baseball with me".

Completely agree with this and am very happy now.....would be extremely happy if we took down that damned 03 banner.

Your school gets money from those december trips too. Shows your history in the post season. Nothing wrong with history in my opinion.

Everyone has different opinions though.

I like how ours is now. Completely fine with putting them up in the IPF. Like I said earlier, it gives the players something to help remind them of their goals.......bowl games.

Hey, that money and history are great, but I'd rather highlight those in the media guide or practice facility. For pure stadium aesthetics, I'd rather those three national championship flags in the north endzone do the major speaking for our history.

Go if you can. I recommend it. That is a fun place to watch a game. It's hot that's for sure. But Gainesville is fun.

Yeah...I was suppose to help Public Relations with that debate. I told them no thanks that Gainesville was in my future. I got fussed at, but in the end, I made the right choice.

I wanted to do that as well. But I realized that making money was much better than spending a buttload of it going to Gainesville. Really need the cash more.

btw....that was before we won. I was pissed as hell a few days after the game when I realized......shite, I should have gone to that".

Only money I really spent was the night before at the bar...which was fun. There are bars across the street from the stadium. Gator fans were really fun to hang out with. Then I spent a good bit at the game due to it being so hot. It was like $5 for water and I think I spent $50 on that alone. ha But I had a free place to stay that Thursday night I left (My parents live in Georgia only 3hrs from Gainesville) then I knew people in Gainesville to stay with rest of the weekend. I lucked up on a prefect weekend.

I'll try to make it for the State game, if my schedule doesn't allow it I'll settle for LSU.

Another fun place to watch a game is Arkansas. Had a good time there 2006, minus the arse beating we took.

Auburn is another one I like. Going to Bama this year, and I can't wait for that one.

Vandy....only thing fun about that trip was the nightlife in Nashville after the game.

Fayetteville is a really nice town, IMO. It's much, much different from the rest of Arkansas.
