I'm joining the ROTC program in a year; i was a little overweight and decided to get into shape to join.I plan on being commissioned as soon as possible because i want to go help our brothers as soon as possible. Is there anything i should look out for going in??

I was born in 87 but i've already discussed my joining with them and they want me to do the 4 year course but i want to do my 2 year only and then serve 100% without anymore schooling.
