i have been saying this for 2 years now. You are correct with this statement. I think bama fans know football. They may be a little too much in love with saban, but they are not as delusional as arky boys.

Wins:

LSU- 703

Arkansas- 649

National Titles:

LSU- 3

Arkansas-1 (which I'm being very generous in counting)

Top 25 Finishes:

LSU-33

Arkansas-28

Top 10 Finishes:

LSU- 23

Arkansas- 13

Bowl Appearances:

LSU- 40 (21 wins)

Arkansas- 36 (11 wins)

Major Bowl Appearances:

LSU- 22

Arkansas- 15

Series Record:

LSU leads 33-19-2

cfbdatawarehouse.com all-time program rankings:

LSU- 10th

Arkansas- 26th

cfbdatawarehouse.com by decade breakdowns:

40's LSU- 10th, Arkansas 32nd

50's LSU- 11th, Arkansas 31st

60's LSU 8th, Arkansas 4th

70's LSU 11th, Arkansas 10th

80's LSU 18th, Arkansas 16th

90's LSU 42nd, Arkansas 48th

00's LSU 2nd, Arkansas 39th

so as you can see, LSU leads Arkansas in every single meaningful and measurable way

You do know that the team who won the National Title last year, Florida...they had 1 less loss than us the year before.

You do know that the fans were calling for Urbans head, right?

I'm very complimentary of the LSU program. I know where they stand. I know where Arkansas stands.

But that is mutually exclusive from the fact that LSU is clearly on the decline under Les Miles.

Your program is a 10 and your coach is a 7.

It is catching up to you.

Yeah your right winning a NC makes our coach a 7.

Then your response is..."It was sabans players"

My response is..."He was still the coach of the team with some of his own players and the players have to be COACHED"

Your arguement is thus rejected because you are moronic

We never said we were a better historical program than LSU?

I don't get why you posted this

Did any Arkansas fan actually say Arkansas is better than LSU?

And those stats are interesting, thanks. I would have thought the gap was bigger.

false

if we lose 4 or 5 games this season, then you can say that.

First of all, no one said anything about LSU > Arkansas.

Second of all, if you look at your stats, Arkansas was the arguably better program (cumulatively) from the 60's through the 90's, and at the very least equal. It's been the last decade and your two national championships, etc., that have vaulted you so far ahead. You can thank Saban for that.

Oh, and you aren't being "generous" by counting our national title. We were easily the rightful winners that year. If we counted like Bama, we'd have 3 or 4.

Again, try to remove the messenger being a Hog here.

You aren't a threat for the NC. I'm sorry, but you aren't.

Every year under Miles you are becoming less competitive. Keep him. I don't care. We're looking for a 3 peat against him.

But if you want some honesty, well, you will be an 8 to 10 win team aiming for the 2nd SEC BCS slot year in and year out as long as he is running the show.

Not when LSU is ELITE and Arky is a bottom dweller as you are saying.

Since the beginning of the 2007 season, which is relavent and recent history, Alabama and LSU are essentially the same record wise (21-8 vs. 22-7). I guess that counts for something.

I didn't say Arky was a bottom dweller. It's a solid program, but not elite no.
