Ahh, didn't know it was about the receivers, yeah I guess you could say you have more returning talent...but we just brought in some very talented guys.

On defense LSU has more proven talent on the dline. That's about it. Bama has more proven talent at Lb and its a toss up in the secondary now that TM is gone, but I like Reid a lot. Though I do expect Milliner and Lester to be all sec.

Yeah, and it'll be very similar this year, with some drop off due to losing TR. Maybe one of the unproven guys can emerge..and be a household name!

I really like Fowler. I think he could start at a lot of other schools. I think Lacy is a good back, but I think Bama's running game would be better if it was by committe rather than ELacy getting the bulk of the carries. Fowler is a beast and TJ Yeldon will be a monster for the next 3 years.

Can't argue with that, I think lacy is good for 15-20 carries a game....anymore and he's unreliable due to durability.

If Mett adds 50 more yards passing a game for us AND we have the dominate run game we had last year, we will be very hard to beat.

LSU has far more returning talent at wr. It's not even up for debate. Jarvis Landry, Shep, and OBJr are more talented than the Bama wrs.

Please pick an argument and stick with it.

Your alleged superior WRs contributed to a passing offense that was ranked in the 100's last year. You 'upgrade' with Mett and say that 50 additional yards per game is sufficient to (I assume) win it all.

On the other hand, AJ is more experienced, with a NC on his resumé (and I know how you like resumés), a deeper WR corps, etc. You forget that AJ didn't have Maze to throw to in NOLA after the first quarter which likely would've made our 23-0 blowout even more laughable.

We know how both games turned out last year and who won the ultimate prize, right?

Recently, Bama and LSU games are always close. Even when one team is really superior to the other team(like 07&08). Both teams play defense and rely on ball control offense. IMO 08,09,10 and 2011 Bama vs. LSU games have been in the top 3-5 games of te year in the sec. Always close. That's why when I'm on Tigerrant and rantards are so sure of victory on Nov.3rd, that I just shake my head. Both teams are loaded so anything can happen.
KNOCK ON WOOD- if Mett was to go down, we'd be fricked.

Likewise if AJ goes down...we're really fricked. to be fair though, we could probably still win 9 without AJ lol.

It's unpossible and a little creepy that thatdude and rickydaddy are being civil. It's probably because we are almost done with this offseason shite!

I can't ait until next weekend.

I don't know what you're talking about. I've admitted numerous times that AJ is far more proven than Mett. Bama's wr depth isn't better than LSU's. It's not. Bama lost 3/3 of their best pass catchers(4/4 if you count TRich). LSU lost 1/4 of our top pass catchers. Bama also lost DCarter which was gonna help with your depth. To say Bama has more depth at wr than LSU is just blind homer. It would be like me saying that LSU had more depth at Linebacker than Bama , while LSU lost all of our lb corp and Bama only lost half of their starters. Also, Bama's wr may end up being great, but as of right now LSU wr corp gets the nod because proven talent coming back.

Yeah. I agree. LSU could win games without Mett, but we wouldn't win the conference of the west.

Duron Carter. Has Saban released a depth chart? Who is behind AJ?

Also, yes I'm a loud obnoxious Cajun. In real life as well as on here.

I don't think DCarter was gonna be great, but he would help with depth. What was he ,6'5?

ETA: I thought DCarter was gonna be in Bama's top 4 wr rotation?

Carter is down in south Florida scewing women and wasting talent down there.

If AJ goes down, we're in a bit of trouble. I'd say Blake Sims would be our go-to guy at that point.

Yes, you're an obnoxious frick.
