Don't overload them now, you know as well as I do most bama fans only think one way

Ricky, maybe it's just homerism that I think our corp is better but our young guys have just as high a star ranking as yours. Are you counting 5 star bust Shepard in your rankings? Hope the kid finally turns it around this year btw.

Shep has underachieved, but he isnt a bust. I'm basing it on the fact that Bama lost their top two wr and LSU has far more returning talent. If they were better than Maze and Hanks, they would've played. Bama's wr drop could be great, the point is , you don't know. Therefore they can't be ranked ahead of LSU since LSU returns 2/3 of their top pass catchers, while Bama returns 0/3 of the top pass catchers ( 2wr and 1 te)

ETA : I am expecting big things out of Kenny Bell though. He will be Bama's biggest playmakers.

He's kind of fallen off the map this fall. Norwood looks to be the go to guy. Of course some guys aren't just practice players. I expect big things from Bell. Our bell cow La player this year is Eddie Lacy and by mid-season it will be Landon Collins I hope..

Who knows how good either of our WRs are gonna be right now? I would say that the one you lost is harder to replace than the two we lost. Our WRs are pretty deep this year, especially when our #3 last year caught everything thrown his way in NOLA.

Has Les figured out a way to incorporate Shepherd into LSU's offense yet?

I agrees AJ is better now , butt Mett has better pro potential.

Great. LSU gets bonus points because of their QB's pro potential minus the meaningful collegiate snaps.

When did say anything about that? Some of
you Gumps need to learn , not everyone thinks Bama players are superior , at every position.i complimented AJ but yet all you read was, " Mett has better pro
Potential". Touchy

If TWilson doesn't have a good year, I expect AJ to be All Sec, but we don't know about his pro potential.

Thanks for agreeing with me about pro potential not meaning shite in college as related to wins.

Metzenbergin will be one of the SEC's top quarterbacks this year, and i am not just saying that as an LSU fan--he really does have some great talent.

Anything better than last year's clusterfrick at quarterback will make LSU's offense look dynamic, considering how solid our D is..i look for #8 to have a big year

Oh, he's gonna be an upgrade. The alternative (of deteriorating) at QB was gonna be an impossible task to accomplish.

I'm not sure that he is ready to take the expectations of the LSU fanbase onto his shoulders and do what you guys expect him to do. He's older that he was when he fricked up at UGA, but the demands of him now are now quite bit higher as well.

If Mett adds 50 more yards passing a game for us AND we have the dominate run game we had last year, we will be very hard to beat.

Your dominant rushing offense was 12 yards per game less than ours. And before you go off on us losing Richardson, I guarantee that our O-line is superior to LSU's, and our RBs will take advantage of the holes that that O-line opens.

If Mett is good for 50 more passing yards per game, LSU will likely fall into the #80 range of passing yards. Bama was #69 and I fully expect AJ to be quite a bit better.

It's gonna all come down to defense...and I'm comfortable with that if it does.

LSU has far more returning talent at wr. It's not even up for debate. Jarvis Landry, Shep, and OBJr are more talented than the Bama wrs.

Ahh, didn't know it was about the receivers, yeah I guess you could say you have more returning talent...but we just brought in some very talented guys.

Both Bama and LSU have a dominate run game. The only team that can stop either are each other. That's dominate. When only one other team can stop your running game, out of all other teams, that's dominate.
I never said Bama's running game wasnt dominate. I thought it was understood that y'all had a great run game.

Yeah, and it'll be very similar this year, with some drop off due to losing TR. Maybe one of the unproven guys can emerge..and be a household name!
