It's a fricking warzone.
So is Montgomery. Don’t know the exact number, but they are at 50+ murders so far this year. Simply getting shot doesn’t even make the news - it is literally a near daily happening. Crime is rampant and even worse than stats show because the PD doesn’t even respond to or take action on many misdemeanors.
I’ve lived near it for almost 50 years, lived and went to college in it 4 years, and worked in it for 31.
It is an irredeemable cesspool with a handful of small islands (the Alley downtown, the zoo, Eastchase) of humanity. If you have any choice, stay away.

I did live there. Too bad this place is the epicenter for high paying tech jobs. Though now with covid things might change for the better and can relocate and keep the salary.

No one goes to Montgomery unless they have to. That should answer your question.

I think a lot of the LSU fanbase has already reserved most of the rooms, in anticipation that they get an invite.

Ah man, Blaze (That 110 lbs pit bull) has been gone since 2010. I still miss him. Even my buddies and parents tell stories about him all the time. I have an 8 year old pointer and got a Rhodesian Ridgeback quarantine puppy back in April. So sorry you lost yours. They are little furry family members. I applied for access to the ITAT board. It would be good to reconnect.
I remember the pictures of him. He was a magnificent beast. We lost our's in January of 2014. She had a good , long run for an Aussie and we still miss her. She was a bossy thing, but then that comes with the breed. A girlfriend of mine had a Rhodesian Ridgeback. He was a cool, but lazy dog. I've always kind of wanted one and if we ever move to the country, maybe I'll get one.
Hope to see you soon on the ITAT board.
