Don't try to make this about Auburn. I didn't start a thread trying to prove Auburn has success by whipping up some retarded stats. I don't need to make a thread like that because our championships prove our success. 2 SEC titles in the past 5 years earns us our place among the big dogs. This is about Mizzou trying to make a case for being an elite team when they haven't won a conference championship since 1969.

Some fall camps open up in exactly 30 days from today.

At the end of this month NFL training camps start.

The season is around the corner. Gotta give the OP some credit though for getting people worked up lol.

Those were down years. Therefore, your success those years is not acknowledged by the truly elite programs who win during competitive years.

Auburn only wins when the SEC is down. Auburn only beat Mizzou (and barely won at that) when Mizzou was down.

However, I'll give Auburn credit for winning when the SEC is extremely down. Winning is winning, regardless.

Good job!

Nah. I guess I define "fun" differently. Kinda like your football players define marriage differently.

Like in 2013 when there were 5 SEC teams in the top 15 of the BCS? Yeah, the SEC was "extremely down" then.

Well, to put some realistic perspective on this thread, the SEC hasn't been that great over the decades outside of Florida, Alabama, and Tennessee.

GTFO - Along with Alabama and Tennessee, Georgia, LSU and Auburn are in the top 15 in total victories ALL TIME among Division 1 FBS programs......Florida is not.

Who said anything about Florida being an all-time great program? They clearly are not lol. I said the past few decades..lol. Comprehend what you are reading next time.

Which is funny coming from an LSU fan because we've won more hardware and lead the annual series.

One of the biggest criticisms of my posting style is that I never actually talk sports or stats.

The moment I post actual stats and winning percentages, people flip their lids!

If anything, I just became the poster that the admins and most level headed users on this site have always wanted me to be...yet people are mad.

I don't get it.

The entire national football landscape was down. It was a down year.

Fact.

neither is LSU, Auburn, or UGA, the only SEC teams who can claim to be historically great are Alabama and Tennessee.

yeah, don't let yourself get upset over an obvious troll

FWIW, I had already addressed the 1969 championship

next time you read a thread like this, just remember to stay away from the shiny hook, no matter how pretty it looks...

Actually, the numbers don't lie. This is not a troll thread. This is a factual thread.

If people allow themselves to be trolled by brutal truth...that's their problem.

On a side note, Auburn isn't a historically elite program. They usually win during down years.
