Dude, that's just football.

Sorry I thought this was an SEC board, I wasn't aware anything else mattered.

Not second oldest
Ummm, yes it is
Did you even look at your own link?
01. 116 games - Minnesota v Wisconsin (1890)
02. 115 games - Kansas v Missouri (1891)
03. 113 games - Nebraska v Kansas (1892)
04. 113 games - Texas v Texas A&M (1894)
05. 111 games - Miami (OH) v Cincinnati (1888)
The people that made this list obviously didn't know basic math so why would you trust them?

Not to mention his link dealt specifically with football.
I can't find a list of oldest college basketball rivalries and I don't really care to because it doesn't matter. No one gives a fap about KU-MU, especially not now that it's dead.

You're retarded if you think the rivalry is dead. If anything, it just went to insane mode.
Trust me...they'll play again in the near future. Everyone (including the delusional frickheads in Kansas) knows it.

You live in Manhattan I really feel for you. MU-kU is a rivalry breed in hate and bloodshed and there is still a real hatred. Sorry but living in Manhattan is not the same as living in ground zero in places like Kansas City. That does not mean Mu-kU is the greatest rivalry but to say it is not one of the greatest just shows your totally ignorant of what you speak or are just basically an asshat.

I'll save you the trouble, what you meant to say is that it is the second oldest continuously played rivalry behind UW and U of M.

Palooza,
I came in here to support your OP, and then you turn into an arse hat. Typical Texas.

I'll agree that A&M/ TU is a good rivalry but just because y'all got more media attention doesn't necessarily make it a "better" rivalry. Either way I really could care less if we ever end up playing those fictional birds from the wasteland known as kansas. I've moved on and am ready for a new challenge and new competitors. CAN'T WAIT!

I'm not an asshat, I realize that KU-MU is a great rivalry. How could I deny that fact given how its result has continually determined the national title picture.
I mean they've faced each other a whopping two times with both teams ranked in 121 years. That's damn impressive.
It's such a great rivalry that both schools have gone to great lengths to ensure it remains on the schedule in 2012...oh wait.

Kidding man. I haven't experienced Mizzou/Kansas so I can't say anything.
Right, I could care less if we play Texas again as well.

Asshat. Your last post shows exactly how little you know about rivalries.

I'm sure Clempson/USCe has probably played each other more often when both teams are ranked, but personally I don't think that is what makes a great rivalry. I think it comes down to pure hatred between the fanbases and the kind of electricity/atmosphere that can bring to the game.

As stated above the pure hatred of our two fanbases is the exact reason why this game is not being played anymore. kU felt sleighted and left behind when Missouri decided to uproot and head to the greener pastures of the SEC. Because of that they are extremely butthurt and say that we betrayed them, and because of that they will no longer play us. Same thing can be said for the A&M/Tu game.

I will most certainly be drunk, I will wear a hat the whole time, and I will walk all up in your grass.
I usually dress nicely in yellow khakis and a purple sweater vest for games; but at A&M I might have to go with a cut off LSU shirt and LSU athletic shorts, just to piss y'all off
FYI, You will in all likelihood get an arse kicking if you get on the MSC grass and flaunt it.

I just want to point out that even though this is a Missouri thread, I have not posted here. Thank you for your time
