I came here to be nice, why are you calling names? Just because I have the patience to wait for the final standings, unlike OP, doesn't mean you should take it as a shot. I said congrats on your top 5 finish. That's great for an upstart MAC program, you should feel good.

I don't understand your saltiness. Mad the Big Ten wouldn't accept you? I'm sure Delaney would've loved to make Iowa-Mizzou a prepackaged "rivalry" and Mizzou would have served nicely in that role as a whipping post for the Hawkeyes

Patience is a virtue.
For anybody who understands wrestling (fans of teams who aren't upstarts) it would have been obvious that were was virtually no chance of Mizzou staying ahead of Iowa in the final standings. I wanted to teach this young man a lesson about not making brag threads when sporting events are still ongoing.

If you really wanted to look informed you would have posted right away that Iowa was for sure going to come back ahead of Mizzou before the event ended.

Let me explain this to you like youre 5.
I'm not sure if Mizzou fans understand that there is more to the final day of the NCAA wrestling tournament. There's also consolation matches going on.
Mizzou had 3 wrestlers in the finals to Iowa's one. But Iowa also had 4 wrestling competing for 3rd while Mizzou had none. Because Iowa had more wrestlers and more opportunities to score points either Mizzou would have had to have won all of its matches or Iowa would have had to lose all of its. This was extremely unlikely to happen because only Cox was favored for Mizzou while 4/5 of Iowa's guys were favored, and upsets aren't nearly as common in wrestling as they are in team sports like football or basketball.
Because there was still technically a small chance for Mizzou to finish ahead of Iowa, and more unlikely things happen in sports, it wasn't "for sure" and I never said it was. Why would I put myself in position to get egg on face in the event of the unlikely just to come across as more "informed" to you?
I didn't come in here talking shite or trolling, just updating OP's attempted troll, so I'm still not sure why you're so upset. Maybe I'm remembering wrong but I thought you had a sense of humor and were one of the more reasonable Mizzou posters that I had gotten along with in the past. Sorry it didn't work out for yall like OP hoped, but y'all still had a solid week and should be proud.
