THeir schedule has been pretty brutal, and the SEC is really down this season outside of LSU and Alabama so i don't really so the issue.

You're not getting it.

CatFan's point was that y'all have done some pretty good things, but nothing that Kentucky, Ole Miss, or MSU wouldn't have done in the same situation.

Don't forget O'fallon!

You think those teams would be 4-5 with Mizzou's schedule? MSU went to OT with La Tech at home, UK lost to Louisville, OM lost at home to BYU, etc.

Don't make me defend the Big 12. That is a line that shouldn't be crossed.

disregarding all the "you're white trash. No *you* are" statements -
Sagarin does have us as having the toughest schedule in the country. Other sources may say otherwise, but it is still a damn tough schedule, easily top 5.
We do not cry about strength of schedule (we mostly cry about our play-calling
). Bring 'em on, I say.
We know the dogfight that is the SEC but this is not the only conference that plays good ball. Yes, it is the best (ESPN seems to have given the nod to the Big 12 this year however) but we are not coming from Conference USA.
We send guys to the NFL just like you do (I think we would have been right in the middle of the pack in the SEC for draft picks last year). We know that we are no powerhouse, but if people honestly think we will be doormats you are in for a rude surprise.
EDIT - please disregard the rudeness of a certain MU fan here. I have a feeling he is a kansan in disguise.

I'm saying in general, over the course of the last few decades.

Y'all won't be a Vandy, but you will be a Kentucky, State or Ole Miss IMO. 6,7,8 win seasons with a ceiling of about 9 wins.

What if Pinkel leaves? The last time Mizzou was good was WWII.

It looks very Big 10'ish IMO... Mizzou is going to have to grow some Oaks and get some better looking women.

It sure seemed like it back when Pinkel was hired. But Missouri only sucked from the mid-1980s on.
The problem is that was when college football really started taking off with TV rights.
