Funny, our announcers said the same thing about Alex Box and didn't even mention Dodey Noble.

maybe one day it will amount to something in that empty trophy case. Maybe you can get a trophy for atmosphere?

We're also the #1 team in the nation.
Alex Bregman and Raph Rhymes collided.
And the "best" part of baseball is when an "umpire makes a bad call so that you know they are human"...

it really was a record crowd.
On another note, this is rather entertaining. Reading the posts last week, I kind of thought the grinders were half kidding about the attendance figures...
but there is some genuine jimmy rustlage.

As an impartial bystander here, this is the silliest crap I have ever read here. Really, attendance argument? Wait, why should this be surprising at all?

Disregarding the fact that commentators are notoriously stupid...
How did you hear them if you were at the game?
And assuming you did....why did you listen?

I wasn't at the game.
It was too crowded.

How was your spring game attendance? I always miss the countless gump threads on it each year.

Weather was a big factor in the attendance. It could have easily been 13000-14000 with good weather
But shoulda, coulda, woulda right?

I thought it was population? You guys need to pick an excuse and stick with it. Arkansas has already claimed the rights to the weather excuse.

..and I was flamed big time for it

Bundy does silly stuff all the time and this is just another example of it. Without the stupid banter back and for about it, anyone with half a clue would know that both numbers are pretty impressive. We can't agree to anything like that here though. From a personal standpoint, the crowds have been a total interruption in the way I go to and from the stadium and basically, these extra folks have just gotten in my way. Where were they when I was freezing my arse off some of the earlier weekends? I bet I had to let 30 people in and out of my row during the game last night. It's like church on Easter and Christmas. These folks come out at the regionals but don't come to the regular season games.
