I caught a show yesterday that featured old trucks with platforms built on top parked in the outfield where fans sat and cooked and partied and what not.

I thought that was cool as shite. Are they going to be allowed to continue this because it would be a travesty if it was discontinued.

Great job enjoying the game.

Those were phased out with the new Stadium. There are still “rigs” but a much more polished version. I understand why they did it but I do miss the old ones

I attended a random Mississippi State baseball game in around 1989, before Arkansas joined the SEC, and before I had even considered where I would be going to college.

It was a big deal, even back then. I was like 11 years old, and I remember eating ice cream with a little wooden sample spoon.

And I remember a ditzy sorority chick asking my mother, when she found out we lived in Arkansas: "So, is it cold in Arkansas?"
