LSU should be improved this season...they wont be world beaters, but they will win 6-7 conference games

bullshite. We have more banners in Bud Walton than we have lights.
As shown by one of the best recruiting classes in the nation this past year.

You should be. Arkansas could be pretty damn good again.

Interesting State fans choose to only go back 15 years to look @ the programs. I suppose it has been the best 15 years they've had in their history though
Why? Going back any farther is pretty useless...the last 5-10 years defines a program, not what they did 20 years ago

Kentucky's recruiting class visited Bud Walton

No its not. Everything a program has ever done defines that program.
See Alabama in football. See Oklahoma in football. See Arkansas in basketball. History always comes back to repeat itself. Historically good programs always rebound, it is just a fact. Historically bad programs, always find a way to be mediocre and bad.
Mississippi State is proving that right now by keeping Stansbury. He should have been gone yesterday. MSU will continue to flop around in mediocrity and lose in the 1st or 2nd round of the NCAA tourney once every 4 or 5 years. Because there are no more meaningless division titles for your school to boast about.

Look at NC State as an example. The won a NC but in the past 20 years they are the 4th best ACC program in their own state. Just because they were good in the 80's and 90's and have a nice arena doesn't mean they are a great program bc they won a national championship.

Are you trying to convince yourself Arkansas is not a good basketball program?
You're doing a shitty job.

Horrible comparison Bama won a national championship last year and OU goes to BCS bowls almost every other year recently. Arkansas hasn't done shite recently to attract recruits. Just because they have history doesn't mean they will get top recruits.

As I stated when you tried to bring up the last 15 years. We have been to MORE NCAA TOURNEY's THAN MSU in the last 15 years.
15, the number YOU brought up.

Yes it does.
TEAM RECRUITING RANKINGS
1. Kentucky
2. Duke
3. St. Johns
4. Arizona
5. Texas
6. Arkansas

I agree that it will be easier for UPig to rebound- but its not guaranteed that you will. But I like your chances.
I agree with all that. Stands has taken the program as far as he can. He will be fired if he misses the NCAA's this season, but I dont see how he could with the team we will have. And we will continue to just languish around as mediocre for 3-4 more years

Will he? And he should have been fired this past year for missing the tourney with what you had.
He will once again start out slow, have no discipline and you will end up winning 17-20 games.

yes- that is set in stone.
I agree he should have been- he was kept because of the recruiting class he brought in- but he used up all his bonus points with the AD and President.
He wont ever be fired for not advancing in the Tourney (and something I have to accept as a State fan I guess)- but if he makes it, he will be ok.

Tell me about it.
Half of me wants another implosion so we can go ahead and get rid of him- the other half cant stand not making the NCAA's and wants us in it at least.
But it sux knowing that no matter what, we have no chance of making the Sweet 16 or better with him as coach

State defeats the French team 99-71 today to finish up their European tour 5-0. Arnett Moultrie had 21 and 11 and Deville Smith dropped 20.

It is about to get a lot tougher as well with the addition of teams. Especially if FSU, Mizzou, Clemson and another come in to the league

I'm really excited about our newcomers.
Deville Smith, Arnett Moultrie, and Rodney Hood are bringing a ton to our team
ETA: Hey Coonass, Moultrie averaged a Double Double in Europe. I think he will have no problem replacing Kodi and will putup better numbers.
