Troopah and Cam are above the NCAA and untouchable.

And FWIW Im not saying we need Trooper, just we need a young black coach the players could relate to.

For example Fred Smoot helped with our camp last night. I would LOVE if Smoot was a GA and helped with our staff.

I remember John Cox calling him that back in the day. Southern Miss was really good back in the late 90's

I agree with that

But Smoot and Troopah are NOT cut from the same cloth

Is coaching at Petal HS now. Ive met him through mutual friends, and he is a really good guy.

All of those late 90's USM football players names makes me want to go to the Po-Boy Extress and get a Steak Bomb.

That's my jam man.

One of my best friends has worked at PBE for a long time and is about to open the new one out in OG on HW 98 west. I'm pumped for him. They are gonna kill it.

Edit: When I was in HB last week I stopped by and got a whole steak bomb with chee, gravy, onions and peppers. Holy Lord.

Po-Boy Express and Lenny's are both great. There is also a new Sandwich shop on Hardy in the old Barnhill's building called Jimmy Johns. They only sell cold sandwiches but their French bread is the best Ive ever eaten.

Check it out next time you are in the Burg

Yea man they deliver too. My lil sister and her bf were telling me about it. Said it's cheap and the delivery is insanely fast. I am def gonna try it out when I am down there next.

Next time you are near PBE, check out The End Zone right next door. It's a bar but they have a dinner counter and potentially the best country fried steak you will ever eat.

Ive eaten at the End zone a few times, good food. I agree on the country fried steak and gravy along with steak fries. They also have pretty good wings there and great beer specials in the afternoons.

It can be fun on random nights with a group of friends, a lot of waitresses/service industry people go there after they get off work. Ive picked up a couple decent ladies over the years at the Endzone

You never answered my question on when Jeff Grimes coached at miss st, since you saw him coach there and all.

Jimmy Johns is the best. The one in Fayetteville is right on Dickson St and stays open until 3am and delivers that late as well. Had that many of times in college right after leaving the bars.

Looks as if Big Dawg Camp is only going to have 3 total commitments.

Commitment wise yes, but we earned some MAJOR brownie points with Quay, Channing Ward, and Nick James.
