Exactly. If LL can't substantiate a claim against state, then how are you going to use LL against OM as a credible witness, especially considering how flimsy and shady his interviews are.

You need more than a single witness account or admission. With OM they have other evidence, after all something did prompt them to interview Lewis in the first place. And the fact that he was offered immunity means they already had enough to pin him and OM but wanted more evidence to support what they already knew. They were building a case here. Saying he took money from another school means nothing without corresponding evidence.

The 3 interviews with investigators were laughable.

You don't have to be an OM fan to realize this was sham

Yep.

One more point, the COI will be thrilled that all 3 interview transcripts were purposefully leaked to a red & blue media member.

Any SEC coach, after seeing all this leaked on Lewis, will say there is no way in HELL I would ever allow any of my players to partake in that process if Ole Miss doesn't get spanked for giving that to the writer.

Well, for starters we haven't seen his interviews. You're relying on the word of:

Steven Godfrey
Senior Reporter

Steven Godfrey is a senior reporter for SB Nation based in Nashville, Tennessee. A graduate of the University of Mississippi and a long suffering Atlanta sports fan, he can be reached on Twitter @38Godfrey.

Clearly a totally and completely unbiased party, to relay accurate and complete information about the interviews.

You're setting yourself up for yet another disappointment.

Actually, you DO have to be an OM fan to feel that way. They found 15 Level One violations. You committed 62 secondary violations and only self reported less than 20 of them. The violations are across multiple coaching staffs and multiple sports. You had coaches knowingly committing violations. You had coaches introducing recruits to boosters. You continued to commit violations WHILE being investigated. And the NCAA said that you did not reach the standard of "exemplary cooperation" of said investigation.

The only sham in this investigation is that the investigators weren't able to find MORE given how sloppy you were, and they didn't ever deliver an explanation for Tusnil texting about getting money from a coach for his mom's rent and utilities.

In the audio tape, recorded on Feb. 2, 2015, a day before Lewis says Allen paid him $10,000 to sign with Ole Miss, Henderson allegedly told Farrar that she had received multiple cash offers for Lewis, including $650,000 from LSU and $80,000 from Mississippi State.

Complete BS. Who would take 21K to play at either Mississippi school when you could take 650K to play at LSU?

State got a good deal. Led SEC freshmen in tackles for only $11k.

But no way LSU offered $650k. He's a solid SEC linebacker not Tom Brady.

But this throws a wrench in the whole "Leo is lying" defense if he is ratting out his current team to the NCAA.

You lousy bitches are the Tennessee of this, cheat just as much but still use the NCAA to take down your rival because you can't do it on the field.

It says the guy "Allen" was reading a message board and was nervous Lewis would sign with LSU. "Allen" must read the rant. Which one of our Ole Miss posters is "Allen?"

Honestly, I'm beginning to feel the same disdain for State as I do for Ole Miss. Bunch of snitches at State. No one likes a snitch. Just outlaw football in the state of Mississippi already.

It says in that report LSU offered $650,000 not Bama. LSU offered 8 times more money than MSU and still couldn't get him. You might want to sit the next couple of plays out.

When the NCAA interviews you what do you do? You have to answer truthfully or lose your eligibility, not sure how you blame the interviewed party when he literally didn't have a choice.
