That was bad. Joe miltons running out of bounds and not trying to get a easily attainable first down is a thing that will bother me for the remainder of my life.

I finally was able to watch both QB’s yesterday. Milton has a rifle, and I think will be the better of the 2 eventually. Milroe is harder to figure out. He throws a great deep ball but the WR’s were wide open. I think both are just Meh, average SEC QB’s. Reason I say this is if both coaches had even a slightly better option they would be on the pine.

However both are better than that dumpster fire Auburn has.

But Milroe is light years ahead of Milton

I’m not defending Milton or claiming he’s a good QB, but he’s not the only problem with our passing game. Every game WRs drop open passes for TDs/long gains. Every game.

I’m also not a fan of how conservative the play calling has become, but that might be a reflection of Milton and the receiving core

In no world should Milton ever start at QB for Tennessee.

The fact that Heupel started him over Hooker in the beginning makes me want to vomit and really has me questioning Heupel just like i used to with Butch regarding Dobbs and Kamara.

If Nico isn't better than THIS at this point of the season than he's a massive bust and a complete waste of 8 million dollars.

Is Nico a bust or is Heupel just way too stubborn for his own good?

Either one is not very good imo. We need to play for this year AND our future.

Milton is literally a zero and has proven to be good for at least one terrible game momentum changing interception EVERY game.

You are telling me a legit QB prodigy wouldn't be better at seeing the field, evading the pass rush than freakin Milton?

Please....Ainge, Bray and Dobbs did very well as true freshman and lit plenty of defenses up. Trevor Lawrence won a national championship.... Johnny Manziel won the freaking Heisman ffs!!!

What our DL did to Max Johnson was unfair. Kid might be better than he looked.

PER:
Carter Karels @CarterKarels

My goodness.

Max Johnson was pressured on 25 of 39 (64.1%) dropbacks vs. Tennessee, per PFF. A&M has never had a pressure rate that high since PFF started tracking that stat in 2014. Aggie OL surrendered 11 QB hits as well.

They are fortunate that Johnson is still healthy.

Stop it.

A good QB would make our WRs look much better than they have so far.

Much less talented WR units have posted good numbers at Tennessee with good QBs throwing to them.

Putting 100% of the blame on Milton just shows how much you you don’t understand football. Milton has not been a good QB, but WRs are dropping passes every game that we’re caught last year. Every game big gains and TDs are being dropped by wide open pass catchers. There is a lot of blame to go around for our passing game.

Also, I think Milton screwed your wife or something

Bro you are fricking clueless I'm sorry. Milton is one of the worst P5 QBs I've ever seen.

Zero pocket presence...zero command of the offense...cooper mays is the brains on the field not Milton.

Runs out of bounds instead of getting the first down! He should be automatically benched on that alone!

Zero touch on his passes... almost every freakin pass is thrown behind his WRs...is that their faults too?

Anyone who can spot QB talent knows he's effin terrible. I can't even take you seriously trying to water it down like this.

It's simple! If you see something bad or an obvious weak spot don't defend the player just freaking replace him until you find the answer....same rule applies for coaches too.

He's a six year senior!

But yeah... it's the WRs fault alright...was it also the WR's faults in 2021 and at Michigan???

Stop defending him you fricking CLOWN.

The WRs are getting open more than you think.

He can't see the field for shite and can't even go through his progressions as a six year senior ffs.

You don’t seem to be able to understand what I’m saying. I’m not absolving Milton of blame. He hasn’t been good. I’m merely stating that your position that Milton is the only problem with our passing game is completely idiotic.

The WRs are getting open more than you think

They are getting open and a lot of times they are dropping easy catches. That’s also a big problem with our passing game. That’s not on Milton dummy
