That's it. That's what looks funny about WW. He has breeding hips

Donovan’s last team was .500. I don’t think you know what you’re talking about. Billy made UF basketball not the other way around. We weren’t some giant program until Billy. There is no built in advantage there. White > Wade. That’s all.

Agree but my man was acting like White took over a final four team. The truth is he took over a team with one NBA player that doesn’t get any minutes. It wasn’t a bad team but it wasn’t Billy’s best work by any means.

Some of the players that Mike White inherited are doing pretty well in Europe.

Robinson, Chiozza, Hill, Egbunu, Hayes, Kevaughn, Stone was a really good core for a new coach to inherit. True, not an automatic final four team, but a really good one nonetheless. Most new coaches don't walk into that kind of situation because they're replacing a fired coach

Robinson is with the Wizards, Chiozza with the Wizards; GLeague affiliate, Egbunu appears to be out of basketball, and Hayes, Kevaughn, and Stone are still with us obviously
Our best player in Europe is Wilbekin. Young was promising but his career has been derailed by injuries. Prather is on Khimki this season but not getting any minutes. Alex Tyus is on Maccabi with Wilbekin.

I would go far as to say, other than his 1st year, it was Billy's worst team. Did not even make the NIT and had a losing record
Mike White did not inherit a very strong team. He did take them to The NIT quarter finals his 1st year and made the NCAA the two years after that, both ahead of Billy's timeline.
Looks like he'll make the NCAAs again, even though some mensa fans out there actually wanted him gone after the poor start this year, which of course was ridiculous.

White inherited a strong program. You don't make an Elite Eight in your second year without changing the core if you inherited a weak team. It doesn't cheapen the success, and White's kept it going, but arguing that White inherited a weak program is silly
