Mike Slive is just doing what the NCAA is telling him. He isn't ignoring the rules. It isn't an SEC investigation it is an NCAA investigation.

He admitted nobody from the SEC office turned the info over to the NCAA, so unless you're calling him a liar it is difficult to say the accusation isn't correct.
