Because he wanted to play in the ACC instead of the SEC for the easy schedule?

You realize that's a joke/parody Twitter account, right?

"ESPM" College Football...
People all over this site have serious media literacy issues when it comes to obvious parody and propaganda accounts on Twitter.

As soon as the Alabama job opened it seems like half the P4 coaches claimed they were being considered, either for a raise, publicity, or to appear loyal to their fans. One offer was made and he took the job.

Fwiw, I know for a fact the first place Byrne landed was in the panhandle, and then he drove in to Tallahassee. Spent the night and next morning negotiating with Norvell before leaving. Byrne used a booster's plane, not the university's. I know someone who works/worked with that plane directly.

After they left Florida, they tried to meet with Sark. Was told they waited, while sitting on the plane, for over an hour for Sark to show up, and then they flew to Seattle when Sark declined the meeting.

I'm ecstatic we didnt get Norvell fwiw, I think you need a major personality shift when moving on from a legend. Norvell is too morose.

I believe it.

First, it was probably a soft offer based on order of interviews.

Second, and most importantly, it came with certain expectations for a mid coach on the heels of the GOAT. Would've been pure Fodder

He may even beat Bama (which is possible, but would be slightly less than the Vandy win last year) this year, but it doesn't really change the opinion. He can't manage a ready made program to success in the weakest of the P4 conferences

What an incredibly stupid thing to say.

ETA: nevermind. I see he didn't say this.
