I just don't want it to become self aware or else 4-8 ND will be a playoff team.

ESPN pushed it.

I still remember when the playoff talk started hearing Kirk Herbstreit talking about the need for a committee. I thought it was terrible then, and my opinion never changed.

They did somewhat decent for awhile because the games played out and made it easy. But they have gotten worse and worse.

The whole deal last year where they ignored SOS and just went off 'overall record' was one of the dumbest things imaginable.

And somehow they don't seem to have learned anything.
