I've always had good service working there and know a few people that work there. They're fine waiters/waitresses. The chances of him getting shitty enough service to warrant that kind of tip is very low, though not impossible.

People do make mistakes. If I get a little tea on me, OK. If my tea gets spilled on the table, OK. If the whole damn glass winds up in my lap, YOU GET NOTHING, regardless of intent. If you come on a message board whinning about it, it makes you a puss, ill-suited for the service industry. Hope you do not still work in that industry.

I understand not giving the tip, but why frick the server over because of the location of the spill? I wouldn't expect a great tip if I did that, but I'd still think it's shitty if you leave me with nothing. I mean, I'd be kissing your arse so much after that.

Most times the manager will get you a free app or a some money taken off the check. Just for that reason.

This one time a girl smiled at me when she was walking through the door. Her face was turned away....but i'm pretty sure she was smiling at me.

Apparently you can.....considering I have no clue wtf you are talking about....
So you would give the server the free app? Or are you saying that you would just pay the normal ticket price and use the deduction as a tip.
