so the fact that you have family working as janitors in the Oxford school system is supposed to matter to me? what does YOUR family have to do with Kwon going to Bama?

Do we really ever "know" anything?

You should put something along the lines of: "Gene Chizik - never lost a bowl game as a coach, coach of the 2010 National Champion Auburn Tigers, Coach of the Year, etc, etc.."
And list all of the awards him, his team, and the coaching staff he assembled were awarded from last season.. I would.

Yeah....., for some reason I don't see ME, Flamacanes, having a sig like that. Now, I may consider replacing Gene Chizik's name with Gus Malzahn however.

A Head Coach is only as good as his assistants..

You're right, Gus has some pretty good assistants under him

Please, all he does is run the offense.. Try harder.

Oh really?
Why was Kwon wearing an Auburn t-shirt at Los Mex during Memorial weekend?
You must be one of those AE people that have an orgasm when a prospect wears a shirt with your school's logo on it.

And I have family in Dale County that knew Craig Sanders' family. They swore he would never switch. Recruiting is too fluid. That being said, Kwon Alexander seems to be an Alabama lean as of now.

This isn't directed at you, Capstone, just everyone who has read or taken part in this thread..
That is according to Mark Murphy, who has strong ties to the Auburn football program. I guess he really was facing a gray-shirt if he wanted to come to Auburn. Shouldn't be too hard to replace him, though I did want him, fwiw...

You know what many Auburn fans would be saying if Alabama fans were saying "he would have greyshirted anyway".

I think a lot of his offers are non-commitable at this point, as well. He wasn't even invited to the BCW held in Auburn.

Come one. Every school has a Mark Murphy who says things like that.
Mark never goes out on a limb. It is very unlike him to say something like that. (although I saw him say it)

He probably would have grey-shirted at 'Bama, too. Like I said, it seems like many of his offers are conditional and non-committable at this point. I know it's not wise to trust recruiting sites, but he's ranked low by every single one of them. I wanted him, but he must not be anything special.

To be fair to the recruiting websites, they get their information from what the kids tell them. They can't really do anything about a kid that is not totally honest about the conditions of his scholarship offers.
As far as Bama is concerned, according to a guy that works for 1 of the Bama recruiting websites, Bama isn't that interested in him anymore either. This seems to be another Spencer Region scenario.
Posted on 6/7/11 at 5:27 pm to flomacanes
He'll probably end up at Clemson like Spencer did, as well
He'll more than likely follow Trae Elston
