You are arguing the other people cheat too.

They absolutely do. Alabama just cheats better.

Saban is better at finding how to work whatever system he’s given, that’s why he’s the GOAT.

Why would that be any different now? Except maybe because it’s such a huge shift and he’s on the other side of 70 at this point he might just say frick it or be unable to adapt?

There’s a reason why bama gets the #1 recruiting class in the country 10 years in a row.

Sure but if NIL is really going to hurt Alabama that badly then it’s only going to hurt LSU marginally less so

Good thing a certain coach has several car dealerships.

Saban has been planning for this for years. Always ahead of the game.
Ha! He gets the rules changed so he doest get caught cheating. Hell, now theres no such thing as cheating in football recruiting.

My enjoyment of college football always had zero-percent to do with whether the players were amateurs or not.

I couldn’t give less of a shite about this NIL stuff. If it leads to perceptively lower quality of play then I’ll starting giving a shite. Until I notice that happening, it’s whatever to me. I’ll just stop watching not demand they not have access to the free market for my benefit anymore.

Alabama’s law essentially prevents people like Saban from doing anything w/r/t NIL. Julio Jones, who owns a Kia and Mazda dealership in Tuscaloosa, may or may not be able to do NIL stuff. I know Saban is explicitly forbade as a state university employee or however they defined it.

Frankly, the Kia Stinger is a better car than the Dodge Charger anyway.

Dan Lambert is offering 90 Miami football players a $500 a month contract to endorse American Top Team

This is a great move for Dan Lambert. He will get the kids right as they are out of the NFL, graduate or quit football and increase the level of athleticism in cage fighting. Instead of waiting until the guys are old dogs and new tricks.
