BTW, Dunlap and a few of his friends robbed a McDonald's during his senior year of high school. Guess who got off with not even a slap on the wrist?

Carlos has never been in trouble before.
He has to take his punishment. This may be the end of his Florida career.

Automatic loss of driving privileges for a year, which implicates guilty

I'll bet Meyer's pissed that this got out to the press before he could cover it up. I'm sure he'll be desperatly trying to get Dunlap cleared before they play in the Sugar Bowl.

UF won't be losing to Appy St. So he could be suspended the whole game. No reason to change his suspension mid game or anything.

No, a license to drive is a privilege extend by the state to its residents. It is not a right guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States or by any state constitution. It is not an implication of guilt, and will not be used as evidence of intoxication at trial. The states are allowed to set "implied permission" standards, i.e blow or lose your license. The state maintains the road, and licenses you to operate upon them. This allows them to mandate revocation standards which have no bearing upon the guilt of the party whom is alleged to have been driving while impaired.
